This weekend, as a chick whose camera is permanently attached around her neck, I attended a Photo Walk through the great metropolis of Sulphur Springs, Texas. Each year on the first weekend of October, a "Photo Walk" is hosted in towns all around the world for obsessed people like me who are just "snap-and-shoot" photoholics. Fifty of us turned out and walked around the square of this quaint little town with our various cameras glued to our hands trying to find the "perfect" picture that stood out from the other 49. We have till Monday night to post our favorite picture online and, if picked, win stuff like gift certificates to places I've never heard of.
So, I thought what better way to pick a favorite picture to post for this contest than to have YOU pick. So, if you'll take a second and "Reply" to this email with which photo below you think I should send in, you'd make me tickled pink!! If you think they all suck, then just don't reply.....it would hurt my feelings.

I love photo #7. He’s the face of a lifetime....wise, enduring, and I just want to hug him. Also just love photo #5. Tomatoes in their simpliciy seem to bring order to the universe.

Let me begin by say that they are all good! Am I prejudiced? Maybe, but I really don't think so. My favorite, looking with an artistic eye, is # 5 and my second is # 7. And the third is # 3. Do you know this lady?? She looks just like somebody I'm in a Bible study with in sulphur Springs. If this is the same person, her name is Ruth. Do you know? Great pictures!! I also especially like the shot of the okra (# 6) This was hard!!! Love, Liz

Second choice is the Okra....I love Okra!

I really liked the first one - the one of the road with First Baptist Church on it. But if that's not one of the choices I like the one of the older lady sitting on the swing. BTW, they are all beautiful. I continue to be impressed with your creative and artistic talent!

Photo 8 is a wonderful character study, photos 2 & 6 are wonderful texture studies and photo 8 is a wonderful comic Texas image.
