Skin Cancer Cure = Duct Tape

January 5, 2013

For some reason, my big, smart hunk of a husband thinks putting duct tape on the top of his head will cure the skin cancer growing up there.....

.......So we had no choice but to sign it.......

"I heard you have to spray it with WD40 first. Then apply duct tape. ;-) But the doctor visit is probably a good idea ..."

"It's only wierd if it doesn't work"

LOL. I hope Chuck is going to come to Dallas to get some real treatment. My friend Scotty has had that happen about 3 times on his head. Too much golf in his case. Tell Chuck to take care and prayers coming. BTW I really liked your blog about your mom the other day.

Let me know if those pesky rough red spots disappear when the tape is
removed.....I may be wrapping myself up real soon. It would probably help
to put a little lotion or cream on thatdry skin, but when you are running out of
the shower to get dressed in 4 minutes..including hair care (two swipes
with a brush), there is always that idea "I'll do it later" ....Oh yeah, right
before I fall into bed! ha. Chuck may have something there. I think I saw
clear duck tape....but I also saw some that looked like a purple zebra....surely
Lowes or home depo would have the "sensible design" tape.
Let me know. I love you both. It is hard to type when one hand is holding a
delicious cookie. I have to hide them when one of the old lady's shows up...they
are like raveness vultures! Maybe I'll get them some Oreos to give my conscience
a salve! Ha.

My Dad Liz, would use masking tape(before duct tape) on his sores on his fingers....guess it worked because he didnt use band-aids lol.

Hey Liz----Dick has this very same problem, but the dermatologist has NEVER recommended this kind of treatment----HMMMMM!!! It sure would be cheaper.

Hope your Christmas and New Years celebration was wonderful with the kids and family.

Love you both, Bonnie
