Today........Is........Our.........Last.........Day.........To..........REHAB!!!!!
Yep, we are heading to Titus Regional Medical Center for, hopefully, the last time for Chuck's hip rehab!!! The boy is getting around much better, with the help of a wheelchair, walker, cane, Liz's left arm......and my constant badgering "Lock those legs....NOW!!" Chuck's about sick of me and I'm about ready to get him back to normal.....NOW!!
But before we get to his last appointment, a quick stop to the vet to drop sweet little Molly off for a teeth cleaning and a dew claw removal and most importantly, so Chuck can hold one of the many kangaroo's our vet has hopping around her office.......that's the benefits of living in the country!!
And for those of you who have asked how my Dad is doing after the loss of my Mom.......thank you for asking. Truth is, he has a broken heart......but he's getting by. Tried to distract him with a trip to the AT&T store and a new iPhone in his pocket the other day.......See how happy he looks??!!!
And made a visit to Mom's grave before heading home......Funny how I find myself picking up the phone to call her to tell her what Chuck ran into with his wheelchair.......she would have had a good belly laugh over that and said, "Bless his heart!".......
We really miss her......
And since we are unable to travel this summer, Chuck and I have been enjoying re-living what we were doing this time last year. Each morning, we read last year's Blog of that day.....Check out where we were this time last year.....

Hi Liz----so good to hear from you and know that Chuck had his LAST rehab today!!! That was a loooooonnnnnng haul for him and you, too. The good news is he is doing so much better. We are happy for you both. Sometimes too much togetherness breeds contempt. HaHa just kidding!
I do know you miss your Mother, and there are times when I sure wish I could call my Mom and tell her stuff.
