Happy Easter!
We are waking up this Easter morning in Hoorn, a magnificently magical little town, after sailing yesterday from Amsterdam. In a few hours, we’ll be taking our bikes off the boat and biking through the cool, brisk (45 degrees….burrrr) countryside.
We took a long walk last night as the sun was setting through this town that there simply are no words to describe. Church bells were ringing through the cobblestone streets as the sun was setting on this 17th century town and we felt we had stepped right smack into a movie set. No words.
AND….most importantly, this is the day the door of Heaven was opened to everyone who chooses to believe and follow Jesus. It’s the most important event a person could ever experience in their life. Wayne and I are over-the-moon happy that someone we love dearly has made that decision to follow Jesus by being baptized today…..on beautiful Easter Sunday.
