Can You Spell V-A-C-A-T-I-O-N?

Yep, that's right; time for another vacation.  I know some of  you are thinking, "Didn't you just get back from a vacation to Florida??" and yep, we sure did.  Retirement Rocks!  But now we are heading out in two days to Oklahoma, Colorado, Montana, S. Dakota, Utah, Oregon, Washington, California, Arizona, NM and then back home.

Wish us safe journey and no needless back-ups in the RV.......I'll be posting from the road so you can see where we are and where we'll be next.  Should be gone 4-6 weeks!!

Have a safe trip to work, you non-retirees.....(hee hee)

P.S.  Thanks to everyone who commented on last weeks post.....I was feeling a little insecure...but I feel MUCH better now!

Dear Chuck and Liz:
Have a great trip and travel safely...you will be in our prayers.
I will be having eye surgery on the retina,, in Philadelphia, at the Wills Eye Institute on Wednesday, June 3. Following a successful cataract surgery on April 2, I had terrible blurring...went to a retina center first, then had a steroid injection the first of May. On May 20, the doctor said that the injection did not help and that the macular pucker would need to be surgically removed. After getting the 2nd opinion Thursday at the WEI, I decided to let their specialist do the surgery.

Thank you for keeping us in the loop. Sounds like a marvelous itinerary.
Love,
Annie Lou and Don

Hi Liz,

We are leaving for our annual trek to NM tomorrow as well. We have to fly into Albuquerque and then have almost a 3 hour drive to Taos where Mom and Dad live. Have you ever made it to Taos in your travels? It is the coolest little town. We love it there. They have a great town square with lots of fun shops, galleries, and great restaurants. The Rio Grande river is right there for rafting, mountain climbing and wading around in the water. And the kids love to go up in the mountains and play with the snow. Anyway it sounds like NM will be near the end of your trip instead of the beginning. But we will be there until the 8th (fly home day). If you happen to be close, give us a call. My cell is. We have Sprint which doesn't get the best reception in that part of the world, but it will go to messaging.
Have a fabulous trip!!!

Love,
Lisa
